Cookie statement.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. Some services also use your browser's storage (local storage and session storage). Below you can read which cookies and storage this website of Auto's Vereecke Recup BV uses, from whom, why and for how long. We measured this on 21 October 2026 with an ordinary browser from Belgium.

Essential, without consent

Without these cookies the site does not work properly. That is why Shopify, our web platform, sets them straight away, even before you make a choice.

• _shopify_essential (1 year): protects the site against abuse and stores your cookie choice.
• localization (1 year): remembers your country and language.
• cart_currency (2 weeks): remembers the currency in which prices are shown.
• consentHeader and _shs_state (session storage, until you close the browser) and shopify:webmcp_adapter_loaded (local storage, until you delete it): technical data about your cookie choice and how the site works.

Statistics and marketing, only with your consent

Shopify only sets these cookies and this storage if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can decline them in the same banner.

• _shopify_analytics (1 year): counts visits and shows us how the site is used.
• _shopify_marketing (1 year): measures which campaigns lead to a visit.
• Shopify pixel storage (session storage, names starting with wpm or ri, and __shopify_agent_context_events, until you close the browser): collects the same statistics in your browser.

The map on the contact page

The Google Maps map on the contact page only loads when you click Show map. That click is your choice. Google Ireland Limited then receives your IP address, only then can Google set its own cookies, and it may pass data to Google LLC in the United States. You can read which cookies in Google's cookie policy. If you do not click, nothing loads from Google.

Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies and storage in your browser settings. If you delete the essential cookies, the site will ask for your choice again.
